Why We’re Different — At City Farm Catering, what sets us apart is our state-of-the-art mobile commercial kitchen trailer. While most caterers depend on the limitations of the venue, we bring a fully equipped professional kitchen directly to your event. This means wherever your event takes you, we’ll be there with exceptional food, flawless fast service, and memories your guests will savour long after the last bite.

We create menus inspired by the seasons, crafted from the freshest ingredients, and tailored to your tastes — from dietary needs to personal favourites, every bite is unforgettable.
Behind the Apron
Scott Bailey
FounderChef Scott Bailey founded City Farm Catering in 2015 with a clear vision - to build a company renowned for quality, dedication, and creativity. These values remain at the heart of everything we do and have guided our growth into one of the most sought-after catering companies in Ontario, serving clients across major cities with unforgettable food and service.
Before launching City Farm Catering, Chef Scott honed his craft with a coveted stage at The Fat Duck — one of only three restaurants in Great Britain to hold the prestigious three Michelin stars. Under the leadership of culinary legend Chef Heston Blumenthal, he gained a global perspective and the innovative mindset that continue to define his work today.
Returning home to Hamilton, Chef Scott worked with some of the region’s most acclaimed restaurants, including Ancaster Mill, Spencer’s at the Waterfront & Bread Bar.
These experiences built the foundation for City Farm Catering’s approach to exceptional, locally inspired cuisine.
His dedication and talent earned him recognition as one of Ontario Hostelry Institute’s Top 30 Under 30, and opportunities to collaborate with world-renowned chefs including Michael Stadtlander, Curtis Stone, and Carlo Petrini, founder of the International Slow Food Movement.
Today, City Farm Catering is known for pushing the boundaries of catering — bringing restaurant-quality dining to unique and offsite destinations with a focus on fresh, local, and regional ingredients. Every detail is meticulously considered, every dish handcrafted, and every event tailored to exceed even the highest expectations.

Creating Opportunities Beyond the Kitchen
At City Farm Catering, we believe exceptional events are built by exceptional people and that starts with creating opportunities.
As a proudly Hamilton-based family business, we're passionate about supporting local youth by partnering with area high schools to provide co-op placements and hands-on experience in the hospitality industry. Many of the young team members you'll see at our events are gaining valuable real-world skills while working alongside experienced chefs and event professionals.
We're committed to mentoring, teaching, and helping the next generation build confidence, develop new skills, and discover a passion for hospitality. Watching these students grow into capable, hardworking professionals is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do.
When you choose City Farm Catering, you're not only supporting a local business you are also helping create meaningful opportunities for young people in our community.
It's a small part of who we are, but one we're incredibly proud of.
